American rapper A$AP Rocky (real name Rakim Mayers) got the verdict from Stockholm district court. The man will get probation and required to pay compensation to the victim.

The case of the attack of the rapper on local residents of Stockholm, Sweden, July 2, lasted almost 1.5 months. During this time, the rapper had to cancel a number of concerts that were planned as part of the tour, as well as the role of headliner Atlas Weekend in Ukraine.

After a long detention, the court determined the punishment – a suspended sentence and compensation in the amount of 1.32 thousand dollars. It is known that a suspended sentence also received two security guards A$AP Rocky, and the amount of compensation is less than needed by the claimant. This is reported on the BBC.

The court also stated that A$AP Rocky and his colleagues did not act in self-defense: “based On the testimony of two witnesses, the court concluded that the defendants were not subjected to criminal attack. Therefore, they were not in a situation where they were allowed to use violence in self-defense”.

What is known about the arrest A$AP Rocky?

The rap star was in Sweden in Stockholm in the framework of a concert tour of Europe. The rapper and three members of the touring team on the evening of 2 July was arrested on suspicion of assault on two men. The corresponding video of the attack appeared on the portal TMZ. According to the version of A$AP Rocky, unknown were under the influence of narcotic substances, and also followed the rapper and team for four quarters, accused that they have broken their headphones, and stuck to passers-by girls. Because of this the rapper and his crew decided to stand up for them.

The case to attack the rapper on men lasted more than a month. Its support for A$AP Rocky expressed stars such as Kim Kardashian, Justin Bieber, Post Malone, Shawn Mendes, and Deputy Secretary of state Karl Risch at the request of Donald trump.
