Studio Respawn Entertainment is going to shift more resources to Apex Legends, even if they have to delay plans for future Titanfall games.
Executive producer at Respawn Entertainment’s drew McCoy (Drew McCoy) discussed in the blog some problems of Apex Legends. Among them – bugs, cheats and lack of clear communication between developers and players during the early period after the start of the project. But Apex Legends are very important to the Studio. So, for the sake of this game, it puts Titanfall, but Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order is fully protected. “The team at Respawn Titanfall and Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order is divided, and any resources from the team Apex does not go into Star Wars and no Star Wars resources are not being transferred to Apex”, added McCoy.
Currently, Respawn Entertainment is focused on bug fixes Apex Legends and improvement of server performance. The Studio also realizes that the players look forward to new content, but is of the opinion that a slower, more meaningful updates are better suited for the team.
A major update will arrive in early next season. They offer bug fixes and balance adjustment. Respawn Entertainment also announced that the second season will bring a new legend, the weapon and some changes to king’s canyon. More detailed information is expected at EA Play in June.
Apex Legends is available on PC, Xbox One and PlayStation 4.
