The Russian government is considering amendments to the legislation concerning the transit of sanctioned Ukrainian goods through Russia to the territory of other member countries of the Eurasian economic Union (EAEC), in particular in Kazakhstan and Kyrgyzstan. About it reports “Glavpost” citing TASS.
Such a statement made to journalists by the first Deputy head of RF government staff Sergey Prikhodko on the eve of his visit to Armenia Prime Minister of the Russian Federation Dmitry Medvedev.
“Following the consideration of Kazakhstan and the Kyrgyz parties are allowed transit of Ukraine’s priority partners list of industrial products. Thus a necessary condition is compliance with the procedures for such transportation prescribed by the presidential decree from January 1, 2016 through certain stationary and mobile checkpoints at road and rail stations,” he said.
“The decree is valid until 1 July 2019. The Russian government is considering the issue of amendments to other legal regulations concerning import to Russia and transit of goods from Ukraine to Kazakhstan and Kyrgyzstan in compliance with the navigation rules of filling and accounting”, – said Prikhodko.
Recall that a direct ban on imports of a number of Russian goods in Ukraine will affect less than 1.2% of exports of the Russian Federation in our country.
