Samsung has expanded its range of branded mobile processors, presenting chip called Exynos 850. OCTA core new product, the detailed characteristics of which were published by the manufacturer, designed for Android devices with support for 4G networks, including smartphones series Galaxy A and Galaxy M.
Mobile platform made for 8-nanometer process technology, includes eight cores ARM Cortex-A55 with a maximum clock frequency of 2.0 GHz and equipped with GPU Mali-G52. The new chip supports display resolution up to 2520×1080 pixels, RAM LPDDR4X and storage eMMC 5.1 standard.
The device is compatible with sensors cameras 21.7 MP or a combination of the two sensors (16 + 5 MP). Video recording is possible in Full HD resolution at 60 frames per second with the encoding of HEVC (H. 265). The chipset supports LTE Cat DL.7 and UE Cat.13, and also modules Wi-Fi 802.11 ac, Bluetooth 5.0, GPS, GLONASS, BeiDou, Galileo and FM.
The first smartphone built on the basis of the new processor was recently introduced Samsung Galaxy A21s.
