The proceedings concern the embezzlement of “Ukrzaliznytsya”.
Specialized anti-corruption Prosecutor has transferred in court business of the former Verkhovna Rada Deputy Valery Ishchenko. He is charged with assisting in the seizure of 20 million hryvnia, “Ukrainian Railways” in 2015, and the attempted acquisition of a further 43 million in 2016 (part 5 article 27, part 5 of article 191 and part 2 of article 15 of part 5 of article 191 of the Criminal code).

According to investigators, in 2015 to the people’s Deputy turned private businessman with the request to help to establish the supply of “Ukrzaliznytsya” hardware products at an inflated price. The Deputy agreed and recruited to the scheme your financial adviser. He also appealed to freelance Advisor to the head of the presidential Administration, that he influenced officials of “Ukrzaliznychpostach” (procurement unit UZ).
In the end, the private company won the tender and signed a contract for the supply of goods at a price which is almost two times higher than the market average. “Ukrzaliznytsya” has the property damage for the sum more than 20 million hryvnia.

In July 2016, was first established and detained five suspects, including representatives of commercial structures and officials “Ukrzaliznytsya”. At the end of that year reported about suspicion to the former acting chief of the “Ukrzaliznychpostach” and the organizer of the crime the beneficiary OOO “Inkomm”, which had to be declared wanted. In March 2017 the case was sent for consideration by the Solomenskiy district court of Kyiv.
In July 2017, reported the suspected four persons, and in August 2018 this episode sent in the same Solomensky court.
In 2019, the circle of suspects has expanded the former people’s Deputy, his financial adviser and the former adviser of the head of the AP. In October 2019, they were informed about the suspicion.
The case will be considered the Highest anti-corruption court.
