The head coach of the national team of Ukraine Andriy Shevchenko in the future would like to lead the Italian “Milan”.
About this the ex-Milan player said in an interview with Italian newspaper La Gazzetta dello Sport.
“I’m the coach of “Milan”? This club has done a lot for me. AC Milan always in my heart, like his fans,” – said Shevchenko.
Who knows, maybe someday I will sit on the bench of the Rossoneri, I would like that very much. But now I am very busy with work in the national team of Ukraine.
In addition, the coach believes that “Milan” it is not necessary to fire current head coach Genaro Gattuso.
“I think that Gattuso works fine. He’s the coach who has not yet said his last word in “Milan”. At this stage, Genaro has done everything possible, but the choice still rests with the leadership team,” – said Shevchenko.
By the way, Andriy Shevchenko, as a player, spent part of Milan in 322 games in which he scored 175 goals.
