TV presenter Ksenia Sobchak told the details of the attack on her crew in Sredneuralskaya convent.
As she said in comments to “Komsomolskaya Pravda”, the group is making a film about the disgraced hiegumen of the Russian Orthodox Church Sergius (Nicholas Romanov), who captured the monastery.
“We came to the heroine of our film. Came to visit the grave of her mother – she showed us the way to the grave on the temple grounds. Fences, fences weren’t there. We came to the grave, after which we were approached by a group of gangster type people. Huge bug!” – said Sobchak.
According to her, the crew began to push out from the cemetery towards the area of the temple.
“There they pushed me and kept on the ground. At this point, started to beat up the Director of our film of Sergei Erenkova, took away his camera. A few people started to beat up the hero of our film – Philip, who was just told how he was abused in this monastery when he was a child,” – said TV presenter.
The victims called the police and waiting for its arrival in car.
“They stole our expensive camera – there’s all of our film materials,” said Sobchak.
