Stakhovsky in a bitter struggle could not get to Roland Garros-2019
|Best Ukrainian tennis player Sergiy Stakhovsky was unable to get into the main draw at Roland Garros.
In the final qualification he lost to Russia’s Alexey Vatutin – 4:6, 6:1, 3:6.
The match lasted 1 hour and 55 minutes. During this time Stakhovsky has complied with 9 aces, made 4 double faults and won 3 games at the reception. His opponent did not make a single ACE, 2 times made a mistake in putting the ball in the game and converted 3 break points.
Sergey completed the first round of qualifying for the failure of the Australian James Duckworth, while the second was stronger than Vladimir Ignatik from Belarus.
In Roland Garros-2018 Ukrainian also lost in the finals of qualification, but got into main draw as “lucky loser”, which reached the second round. This year, Stakhovsky also has a chance to get “lucky-loser”, due to the fact that the Foundation refused to speak with Tomas Berdych.
