Jupiter Hell is a turn – based game from ChaosForge, which the developers called “chess with a shotgun”. It will be a spiritual successor to Doom Roguelike – previous works employees ChaosForge.
You’re a lone space marine who is stuck on one of the moons of Jupiter, along with hordes of demons, zombies and other monsters. Management like the top-down shooter, but time moves only when you move, and for the outer shell hiding a serious turn-based RPG mechanics.
The levels are randomly generated, the character can have different types of weapons, items and abilities, and each passage opens new challenges that make the game harder. Pleasant trifle – stylized nineties, like UI as the convex CRTs.
Jupiter Hell took to Kickstarter in November of 2016 and brought in 70 067 pounds. National investors are already testing the game for some time. The final version should be available before the end of 2020.
Early access Steam Jupiter Hell starts on the 1st of August.
