Prosecutors who have not been vetted and are trying to be reinstated through the courts, also require payment of wages for this period
The courts are now 1006 cases involving claims of former employees of bodies of Prosecutor’s office, 676 of them relate to reinstatement in the office of the attorney General, 315 – restoration of the prosecutors of regional Prosecutor’s offices. About it at session of parliamentary Committee on law enforcement said the Prosecutor General Irina Venediktova, reports UKRINFORM.

“And it is not only the restoration on the job, and compensation for moral damages, the obligation to perform certain actions, the recovery of average earnings during his forced absence… that is, it is a comprehensive actions that will have systemic consequences,” she said.
Venediktov said that the courts have already considered 34 claim, “of them rejected 9, this is about the reinstatement granted – 15 of the lawsuits and collected in favor of the plaintiffs 4, 8 million UAH, that is, these means the UCP must pay”.
“In addition, we have questions of lustration. To date, about 60 claims is granted. Ilustrirovannij have to pay about 50 million UAH”, – said the Prosecutor General.
