Check will be in the areas of education, health, social, in defence of the country and others.
The chamber this year will spend more than 80 audits, the main purpose of which is to test the efficiency of use of budgetary funds by government agencies as to their needs, and the implementation of the reforms. About it reports a press-service of the accounting chamber.
According to the head of the accounts chamber Valery Patskan, in 2020, the authority will conduct inspections in institutions such spheres as education, health, social, defence, etc.
Check will be in such state agencies and organizations:
- The Verkhovna Rada;
- The Central election Commission;
- The Cabinet;
- The foreign intelligence service;
- The Antimonopoly Committee;
- Pension Fund;
- The state property Fund;
- The Ministry of defense and others.
In addition to Parliament, ministries and other agencies have to go through audit and other important institutions and organizations. As an added Patskan, the chamber, in particular, will conduct audits to verify the effectiveness of the use of state funds allocated to support the safe condition of power units and the Shelter object and activities on preparation for decommissioning of the Chernobyl nuclear power plant; efficiency audit of state property management in the oil and gas sector; the use of funds for the development of border road infrastructure on the Ukrainian-Polish and Ukrainian-Hungarian borders.
“Over the last almost 2 years we have significantly increased their technical and professional competence of our team of auditors. We will help the state strengthen the quality of management of taxpayers ‘ money“, – said the Chairman of the accounts chamber.
