After adding the quest tasks in the fifth season of Apex Legends now has a fascinating method of storytelling. Studio Respawn Entertainment announced that it will continue to invest heavily in the development of the game. Moreover, it generates plans in the long term – already work is underway on the eleventh season.
Speaking with Rock, Paper, Shotgun, design Director at Respawn Entertainment Jason McCord (Jason McCord) and Director of development of the Apex Legends Chad Grenier (Grenier Chad) told me that adding story content to the game is not limited to one season story will develop gradually.
“Narrative stories in the Royal rumble is kind of our thing now”, said Grenier. To balance narrative content so that it does not interfere with the competition, it is difficult, but in the foreseeable future Respawn Entertainment will make this twice as hard, and will also experiment with the type of narrative and the way it reports players.
According to McCord, Respawn Entertainment is already planning the content until the eleventh season, although it may not be included in the plot of the story. “We are now regularly test sixth, seventh and eighth seasons”, he added. Just to say that the Studio checks the operation of the new characters, weapons, and balance changes and maps.
Design Director at Respawn Entertainment has also mentioned Titanfall. Like he said, if the Studio will ever do a new part of the series, it will include all the additions to the mythology of the universe, who made Apex Legends.
Apex Legends available conditionally free on PC, Xbox One and PlayStation 4.
