The Verkhovna Rada Committee on matters of integration in the EU recommended to finalize the draft Labour code and the two drafts on labour that they fully took into account the provisions of EU law.
About it on Tuesday have informed in the press service of the Parliament, writes “European true”.
At the meeting on 17 March, the Committee reviewed the draft of the Labour code No. 2410, 2410-1 and draft laws on labour No. 2708-1, No. 2708-2.
The Committee recognized them as such that do not contradict the obligations of Ukraine in accordance with the Association Agreement and the EU law.
But to these documents, the members of the Committee were a number of comments. They concern, in particular, those articles which refer to the restriction of the rights of workers, depending on specific to a certain type of work, age requirements, educational level, health status, gender, and the like.
Also, the bill, according to the results of their examination, it is recommended to Refine towards a full accounting and proper implementation of the provisions of EU law and conventions of the International labour organization.
