In the first quarter of 2020 implementation of expenditures of the General Fund of the state budget was in the worst level in five years.
For the first quarter of the current year, the state budget of Ukraine has not received 45 billion UAH of planned revenues to the General Fund, of which 27 billion of customs and tax payments. Such data was announced by the Chairman of the accounts chamber Valery Patskan on his page in Facebook on Wednesday, may 27.
“For January-March 2020 the budget is not received 14% of planned revenues to the General Fund. 45 billion, of which 27 billion of customs and tax payments and 17 billion of external borrowing,” wrote Patskan.
He pointed out that as a result of the reduction in imports of goods and services in the budget is not received 9.5 billion UAH of VAT. The difference between the predicted and the actual exchange rate of the hryvnia has led to a shortfall of 6.7 billion hryvnia income.
As a result of the budget expenditures was carried out in UAH 28.3 billion (11%) less than plan.
Patskan said that the education, medicine, the construction of sports facilities has not received 1.1 billion hryvnia because of miscalculations in the preparation of the state budget in 2020.
“In the first quarter of 2020, the expenditures of the General Fund of the state budget performed worse over the past five years,” – said Patskan.
