“The final was the span between the supports 219 and 220 is a structure with a length of almost 64 meters. It is set in the design position in several stages. Sections of the span were alternately raised by the cranes. Next they will be joined together at a height using bolts and welding. In order to fix the sections to the height between the two main pillars were built two auxiliary, temporary,” – said Deputy General Director for production contractor Dmitry Petukhov.
At the Crimean bridge – 306 railway superstructures. Each includes two blocks – left and right, which are formed from parallel threads for the movement of trains in the direction of Crimea and back. “Thread” railway superstructures rises gradually in the direction of the channel from 5 to 35 meters. Over the shipping corridor in the Kerch Strait is the large span double-track road – arched. It is about 10 times more massive (about 6 thousand tonnes) and almost four times longer than the other spans (from prop to prop – 227 metres as two football fields).

According to him, by December 2019, at the time of launch of the railway traffic, on a bridge installs all systems that will provide a comfortable and safe movement of trains, including lighting, communications, and devices of signaling, centralization and blocking.
