The Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine has abolished more than 27 thousand of the sanctions that were used against the citizens, enterprises and organizations involved in foreign trade activities. The corresponding decree № 1180, the government adopted on 4 December, but the decision to act beginning February 3, as follows from the document.
“To cancel the action of special sanctions applied to subjects of foreign economic activity and foreign subjects of economic activities in accordance with article 37 of the law of Ukraine “On foreign economic activities” until February 7, 2019″, – stated in the decree of the Cabinet of Ministers.
According to Ministry of economy, this decision involves measures aimed at liberalization of foreign currency in accordance with the law of Ukraine “On foreign currency and foreign currency transactions.”
Until the entry into force of this decree for violation of the law on FEA, the economy Ministry had the authority to impose sanctions against Ukrainian entities of foreign economic activity or foreign business entities, including fines, prohibitions, restrictions, individual mode of licensing, the termination of activities.
