UEFA disciplinary body examined the case of the defender of Madrid “real” Sergio Ramos, who was suspected of intentionally getting a yellow card in the first match of 1/8 finals of the Champions League with Ajax (2:1).
The Committee decided to disqualify the Spaniard in two matches, although due to the suspension he had to miss only one meeting.
Thus, not only Ramos will miss the second leg against Ajax, but the first meeting of the 1/4 finals if real Madrid progress to the next stage of the tournament.
Ramos received a yellow card at the end of the first leg against Ajax with the score 2:1 in favor of “creamy”. After the match, the captain of real Madrid has hinted that he deliberately got booked.
Note that the return match “real” and “Ajax” held at “Santiago Bernabeu” on March 5.
