Ukrainian center for educational quality assessment strongly condemned the hate speech of the graduates of one of Kiev schools to address the Crimean Tatar people in the video, filmed by them after passing the EIT on the history.

“It’s especially annoying that the EIT present in the video, in the form of blasphemous speak against the Crimean Tatar people and allow themselves to emotional exclamations, denying the territorial integrity of Ukraine”, – noted in the uceqa.
The Center said that the video recorded after the passing of external independent evaluation on history of Ukraine on July 9 and posted on the social network, graduates expressed dissatisfaction with the content of the certification work, and in particular, tasks No. 25, the purpose of which is to test the understanding of the events and personalities associated with the Crimean Tatar people.
In uceqa note that the requirements of the Program of external independent evaluation on history of Ukraine stipulates pupils ‘ knowledge of personalities such as Ismail gasprinski, Noman Celebicihan, Amet-Khan Sultan, Pyotr Grigorenko, Mustafa Dzhemilev.
In addition, the content of the Program is the concept of “the Crimean khanate”, “the National revival of the Crimean Tatar people”, “the Crimean Tatar national movement”, “the events of 1917 in the Crimea”, “the Formation of the Crimean ASSR”, “the deportation of the Crimean Tatars and other peoples of the Crimea”, “Crimean Tatar movement”, “the Creation of the Autonomous Republic of Crimea”, “the Majlis of the Crimean Tatar people (June 1991)”, “the Return of Crimean Tatars to their homeland”, “the Status of Crimea”, “Russia’s Annexation of Crimea.”
“The jobs associated with the history of the Crimean Tatar people, meet the current program and constantly have the certification papers on the history of Ukraine”, – emphasized in the Center.
At the same time in uceqa thanked the Majlis of the Crimean Tatar people for the constructive response to the unfortunate incident and assured that he will continue to do everything to ensure the compliance of the contents and procedures of EIT applicable regulations.
As earlier reported, the Chairman of the Majlis of the Crimean Tatar people Refat Chubarov informed in Facebook that the graduates of the Kiev city school No. 90 recorded and posted online video from the offensive to the Crimean Tatars statements. One of them even said that “Crimea is Russia”.
Subsequently, the leadership of the school published in the social network to apologize for the actions of its graduates, and three teenagers who appear in the controversial video, posted a personal apology.
The Mejlis of the Crimean Tatar people urged to consider the incident closed, and those graduates who apologized, was invited to the office of the Majlis, where each of them the leader of the Crimean Tatar people Mustafa Cemil will personally hand books on the history of Crimea and Crimean Tatar people.
