The state company “Ukrtransgaz” (enters into group “Naftogaz of Ukraine”) concluded with the national Agency for the identification, investigation and management of assets derived from corruption and other crimes (ARMA), the contract on management of actions “Gaztranzit” that make up 40,22% of the share capital of the company. This was reported by the press service of “Ukrtransgaz”. By 2017, these securities belonged to the Russian “Gazprom”.
“Gaztranzit” was created in 1997 to increase transit capacities in the Balkan area. In 1997-2019 years the company was the operator of the production facilities belonging to “Gaztranzit” in particular, the COP “Tarutino” in the Odessa region. Accordingly, the company has the necessary experience to further control the actions of “Gaztranzit” and plans to focus on maintaining and increasing their economic value”, – stated in the message.
Other packages of shares of “Gaztranzit” belong to these companies:
- “Naftogaz Of Ukraine” – 40,22%;
- “Turusgaz” (Turkey) – 19,56% of the shares.
We will remind, in the middle of last month it became known that the company 104 has initiated legal action to recover debts for the negative unbalance for the total amount of UAH 31 billion. Of them to operators of gas distribution networks in the amount of 28.8 billion UAH (97 claims), and other market participants (seven claims) – 2.2 billion UAH.
