Company Michelin in the East European region announced the appointment of Marina Lyashenko for the post of General Director of the company Michelin in Ukraine. From 20 may 2019 Marina Lyashenko is responsible for managing the company’s office in Kyiv and the implementation of its development strategy in the country, aimed at strengthening the company’s position and strengthening of the brand in Ukraine.
“My acquaintance with the values and history of the brand Michelin was back in 2004 when I was trained at the University of Auvergne in Clermont-Ferrand, where is located the head office and factory of the Group, says Lyashenko. – After 15 years, I am pleased to join the energetic and friendly team Michelin in the East European region. In recent years, the Ukrainian market was in a difficult situation, but he has high potential, in terms of sales growth. Our company has ambitious goals, but I’m sure that our professional team they are able to do. We intend to dramatically increase the presence of Michelin in Ukraine, strengthening our position in the premium segment, and constantly work to strengthen the trust of our customers to the products and services of the company Michelin”.
Marina Lyashenko graduated from a master’s degree with specialization “Marketing” in the Kyiv trade and economic University, and in 2004 she was trained in the field of business management at the University of Auvergne in Clermont-Ferrand (France). Her professional path is more than ten years of experience in senior positions in Procter&Gamble and Omega Pharma. In 2017, the Marina entered the Top 100 successful business women in Ukraine according to the European Association of Business Development. Fluent in Ukrainian, English, French and Russian.
Michelin company presented in the Eastern European region since 1997. In 2004, Michelin opened a plant for production of automobile tires in the village of Davydovo (Moscow region). Today, the division of Michelin in the East European region employs about 1,000 people. In 2010, the opening of a commercial Agency Michelin in Ukraine. In addition to Ukraine in the perimeter of responsibility includes the countries of Transcaucasia: Georgia, Armenia and Azerbaijan.
