Chinese doctor If Wenliang, who in December last year, sent out a message about of human infection with the novel coronavirus, died in hospital on Thursday after resuscitation performed by his colleagues.

“If Wenlang, Chinese doctor, who in December 2019 first warned the public about potential diseases “like SARS coronavirus” died”, – stated in the message.
The death of the doctor is officially recorded in the night of Saturday, February 7 at 2:58 local time, said the Central hospital in Wuhan.
