The unification Ministry of South Korea confirmed that North Korea blew up the inter-Korean liaison office. About it reports Agency Yonhap.
“North Korea at 14:49 local time (08:49 in Kiev) carried out the undermining of the building of inter-Korean liaison office in Kaesong”, the statement reads.
As reported previously, Kim yo-Jong, sister of North Korean leader Kim Jong-UN, warned that South Korea will soon witness a “tragic scene useless joint liaison office between the North and the South.”
9 June, North Korean authorities said that in the same day “cut off” all communication lines with South Korea. Formally, this was a response to the spread on the territory of the DPRK anti-government leaflets, which were brought from the South by means of balloons.
According to Pyongyang, “inter-Korean relations have reached the end point”, and the negotiations with the Republic of Korea has brought disappointment.
The General staff of the Korean people’s army, on 15 June said that the DPRK is exploring the possibility of introducing his army to the demilitarised in accordance with the inter-Korean agreements of the zone.
