The former Brazilian leader, Lula da Silva added to a prison term of nearly 13 years.
Former President of Brazil, Luiz inácio Lula da Silva was sentenced to 12 years and 11 months in prison on charges of corruption and money laundering, according to Globo.
This sentence was passed by the District court in the Brazilian city of Curitiba. The investigation revealed that Lula da Silva received the house and land in Sao Paulo in exchange for assistance to private companies. According to the documents the owners of the house were the people from the environment policy.
In total against Lula Da Silva had opened seven criminal cases. One of them he was acquitted.
