Karl Lagerfeld, the famous German fashion designer and creative Director of fashion house Chanel, died on Tuesday, February 19 at the age of 85 years. Cause of death was pancreatic cancer.

The publication reports that Lagerfeld had died on the morning of 19 February. A day earlier, on Monday, February 18, he was hospitalized in a Parisian hospital.
