Surging in the Southeast U.S. hurricane Michael led to the first two victims. They were the man from Florida, whose house fell the wind toppled a tree and 11-year-old child, died under the same circumstances. After reaching the coast, the hurricane weakened to a tropical storm.
In the States of Florida, Alabama and Georgia in the result of the disaster were left without power more than 300 thousand houses and possessions. Operating in these regions a state of emergency, evacuated about 400 thousand people.
At the moment the element is greatly diminished: the wind speed dropped from 250 miles per hour to 205 km/h. It is possible to reduce a category hurricane on the Saffir-Simpson scale from the fourth to the third.
