The people’s Deputy Serhiy Leshchenko asked what the letter from the SBU cover the head of the national Council Yuriy Artemenko, not to consider the question about disabling the channel “112 Ukraine”.
About this in his video blog, “an Honest politician” said the MP from the PPO Sergey Leshchenko.
“As of the time of the meeting of the national Council on television and radio broadcasting (September 13, 2018 – 24 channel), had less than a week before the expiry of licenses, and the national Council already had the authority to decide whether to continue them or not. As “channel 112” had a whole bunch of violations that they had to refuse to renew. However, instead of making such a decision, the Chairman of the national Council Yuriy Artemenko covered some letter of the SBU. And supposedly in this letter, the secret service has asked not to hurry about “Channel 112”. And said: “SBU asks to stay,” reminded people’s Deputy and former journalist.
And here in his parliamentary post I found the answer to his address, which was sent to SBU. Seen impressive! It turns out that SBU made a completely different recommendation than its articulated Artemenko. SBU claims that “Channel 112” should not (!) to obtain renewal of licenses. To quote the letter of the SBU: “the results of the analysis of the information activities of the group of companies who broadcasted under the logo “112 Ukraine”, the tendency to growth of quantity of items of a destructive propaganda of the aggressor state in the transmission channel”,
– said Leshchenko.
“In addition, changes in the ownership structure of the so-called group of companies “112 Ukraine” indicate the possible intentions of an aggressor state to establish indirect control over the activities of the broadcaster for the effective introduction of technology impact on the consciousness of citizens of Ukraine in their own interests”, – stated in the letter from the SBU to the national Council.

Further, the SBU confirmed that 112 “repeatedly violated the terms of the licences and the requirements of the legislation, which was confirmed by relevant decisions and sanctions of the National Council”. And then the output special services: “we ask you to consider the denial of renewal of licenses for broadcasting companies, broadcasting under the logo” 112 Ukraine”,
– added the MP.
Leshchenko requested to carefully read these words: “to consider non-renewal of the license”. It asks security in his September address to the national Council. Then, as head of the national Council said that the SBU asked not to hurry with this decision!
