Representation of Nissan, Renault and Mitsubishi in Russia together with the government of the Russian Federation signed spetsinvestproject, according to which the country will start producing CVTs Jatco Japanese brand.
This refers to the CVT7 continuously variable transmission JF015E, which are already used in some models of Renault and Nissan. It is expected that they will replace the outdated robotic CAT on cars LADA. The agreement also provides that in addition to the Jatco CVTs are mass produced and gas engines.
According to the Minister of industry and trade Denis Manturov, this agreement supports the motion vector of the Strategy of automobile industry development, approved last year, and would provide a significant inflow of investments to the total amount of 70 billion rubles, and will create approximately 2,300 jobs. The contract is valid for 10 years.
