The Russian authorities have simplified the procedure for resale of Russian weapons from first-time buyers in the third world countries for the US sanctions, reports ONLINE.UA with reference to the Russian newspaper “Vedomosti”.
As you know, the re-export of Russian weapons was allowed before, but a country that got it second hand, had to submit to the Federal service for military-technical cooperation of the end-user certificate. In this certificate the certificate the purchaser is obliged not to resell weapons without Moscow’s permission and, thus, formally confirmed that ultimately buys weapons from Russia.
“Now, it is sufficient if the third country will provide a certificate direct to the vendor, and he only informed Russia that the purchaser promises not to transfer arms on”, – noted in the publication.
It is worth noting that the appearance of the resolution caused by the anti-Russian sanctions.
“Foreign States have expressed interest in buying Russian military products, but, fearing to fall under sanctions, abandon its purchases”, – stated in the explanatory note to the document.
