French carmaker Renault has announced the launch of a new electric vehicle, built on the popular Twingo hatchback. Hallmarks of the model called the Twingo ZE will be the compact dimensions, relatively high speed charging from a household outlet and affordable price.
To make the new product available, while maintaining its practicality, the company has focused primarily on the agility of the model in urban environments, not in driving range on the highway, reports Electrek.

According to the manufacturer, on one charge the battery capacity of 22 kWh the car can travel up to 160 kilometres.
