In Odessa opened an unusual installation “Propagandation” which will help you to become mydiagramitem and to learn to distinguish propaganda.
“Museum of propaganda” can attend for free. In the first room you can see an example of propaganda in the Russian media. The walls are equipped with TVs that broadcast various Russian programs. After this “doctor” a special device will measure the amount of “Kiselev” in your blood. Most likely, after the received dose of propaganda, this figure will go overboard.
In this case, you are sent into the next room, where with the help of VR-technologies will try to cure this disease. Wearing virtual reality glasses, “infected” finds out the actual figures of fake news in the media, will examine the influence of propaganda. This room is equipped with a variety of banners on the walls, the literature of media literacy, which will help to resist the manipulation of information.
After the “treatment,” “infected” will be offered to pass a test on the ability to resist propaganda. The test consists of 5 simple questions. If they successfully pass you will be given a “mediamenu”, and as a reward for the cure, you can take a set of stickers and eco bag.
The event takes place in the framework of the “mass-Media program in Ukraine”, funded by the U.S. Agency for international development.
