A professional photographer from Latvia Andris Barbans decided to celebrate his birthday at picturesque Iceland. The man was amazed by the beauty of the landscapes that inspired him to create a series of images.
According to the photographer, it was hard at first to adapt to natural phenomena. All because Andris Barbans arrived in Iceland in the so-called Arctic summer, through that artist a few days to get used to a protracted day.
“It was the Arctic summer in Iceland, when the day was almost 22 hours. It took a little time to get my body used to sleeping not only in the dark. The first two nights I woke up at 3 in the morning. Another thing I faced is the weather. The middle of the night we saw the amazing clear skies and a stunning sunset because we arrived at 1:00 local time, and the next day was the opposite – the rain and the gray sky,” – said Andris Barbans.
During the week the artist traveled to Iceland, recording what he saw on camera. Consequently Andris Barbans showed the beauty of the region, with whom he was acquainted, noting that reserved leave for him there was little to explore the real beauty of this country.
“The true fun in Iceland begins where there are no tourists. But do not forget about potential dangers, so you should travel or are a seasoned traveler or with a tour guide,” – said Andris Barbans.
