On Wednesday, the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine adopted a resolution that extends the Toolkit of actions entitled to exercise health institutions, the National police and the national guard to stop the spread of coronavirus infections, reports Interfax-Ukraine.
As noted by the head of national police of Ukraine Igor Klimenko, judgment of Kabinga “On some restrictive anti-epidemic measures aimed at preventing the spread of acute respiratory diseases COVID-19 caused by the coronavirus SARS-CoV-2” requires in particular that providers have a duty to investigate persons who have had contact with infected or having symptoms of disease, and refusing a voluntary examination, and must carry out their compulsory hospitalization or assign a quarantine (isolation).
“The police, according to this decree, shall at the written request of the health authorities to accompany vehicle rescue and machinery during delivery of infected persons for examination and hospitalization. As well as with the National guard to ensure the safety of medical institutions provided for the treatment and observation of citizens. These activities are intended to help effectively counter the spread of COVID-19” – said Klimenko.
