Employees of the juvenile prevention visited Melitopol state pedagogical University. Police talked to the teachers and students and reminded of the responsibility for committing false reports about terrorist threats.
May 16, the staff of juvenile prevention Melitopol police Department held a preventive conversation with the students and faculty of Melitopol state pedagogical University named after Bogdan Khmelnitsky.
About 100 students from different faculties learned how to act in case of emergency and the message about the threat of terrorist attack, the mining of buildings, forced evacuation of people.
Law enforcement officers reminded the youth about the case in Melitopol, when the minor called the police and reported about mining of educational institutions. The students were told about the work of the services involved checking information and searching for possible explosive devices. In addition, noted on the amount of damage to the state’s emergency services that result from false reports. Leaving the false reports of a crime, offence or incident, law enforcement officials, doctors or rescuers may not be able to help those who really need it.
Law enforcement authorities appealed to the youth to be responsible and do not violate the norms of the current legislation. Explained what responsibility is stipulated by law in case of false reports about terrorist threats.
