In connection with the elements in the Western regions of the country, the national postal operator “Ukrposhta” warned of possible delays in mail delivery in Ivano-Frankivsk, Transcarpathian and Chernivtsi regions.
“Ukrposhta informs about possible delays in mail delivery in Ivano-Frankivsk, Transcarpathian and Chernivtsi regions, caused by heavy rains and floods. Now flooded a number of settlements in these Western regions of Ukraine and partially disrupted transport links with them”, – stated in the message.
Due to the effects of bad weather may delay mail delivery in the 91 town of Ivano-Frankivsk region, the settlements of the basin of the Prut river and 4 offices in Chernivtsi region.
It is also reported that on June 24, is already restored offices in Rakhiv district of Transcarpathian region.
Ukrposhta will promptly report the complete restoration of the offices affected by the weather settlements. Normal work schedule Ukrposhta will be restored after the elimination of consequences of elements.
It is noted that in most of the settlements affected by the weather, had already made the payment of pensions and social benefits, and for those customers who have not yet received them, payments will be made after the reopening of offices.
