The CPY group of hackers managed to crack Denuvo 5.6 in a post-apocalyptic game Metro: Exodus. DRM in a shooter could hold out only 5 days, while for breaking a similar system to Resident Evil 2 Remake took 6 days.
As reported by Overclockers online, the developers 4A Games and publisher Deep Silver has not yet commented on the situation. It is unknown if they will remove Denuvo from Metro: Exodus soon or ignore this fact.
As for Denuvo Software Solutions, the position of the developer mentioned DRM protection remains the same over the last few years. As repeatedly noted by representatives of the company, Denuvo is not a panacea for digital piracy, but only seeks to defend the game at the initial stage of sales.
