The fleet of the municipal police in the Slovak town of humenné has been enriched with “universal Lada Vesta SW Cross”.
The municipal police of a small town located in the East of Slovakia, in may this year got a new car – universal “Lada Vesta SW Cross”. The car was acquired on means of the city budget at one of the official dealers of the brand.
Before the local police (in contrast to the Federal police, she is engaged mainly in patrolling and maintaining public order) humenné drove the car Kia Ceed year 2011 and Skoda Fabia 2013 model year. As noted by the website of the city administration, both cars have mileage over a hundred thousand miles and are not in the best condition, and therefore there is a need to update the fleet.
Among the reasons for that was selected “Lada Vesta SW Cross” local authorities called spacious cabin, high ground clearance and reasonable price.
Meanwhile, in the course of this year AVTOVAZ plans to stop delivery of “Way” in EU countries because of the tightening environmental standards. Now the cars of Russian brands officially sold in addition to Slovakia, Germany, Hungary and Bulgaria.
