Tonight was the Grand final of the tournament Six Invitational 2019 to Tom Clancy’s Rainbow Six Siege, which was conducted from 11th to 17th February. In eSports confrontation took place between 16 teams among which were the team from Russia – Team Empire.
Our soldiers managed to break out in the Grand final, which was held in the format bo-5 – that is up to three victories. Unfortunately, Team Empire lost to the European team G2 Esports with a score 0:3. Nevertheless, this is a very good result for “the Imperials” – according to commentators, a year ago, none of the CIS team was not even in the top 10 of the strongest teams.

The winners will take home 800 thousand dollars, which is 40% of the total prize pool that is equal to $ 2 million. Team Empire will take 320 thousand evergreen.
While playing on the first map, which lasted about two hours, the team managed to set a world record for Rainbow Six Siege, playing a total of 22 rounds with a final result of 10:12 in favor of the G2 Esports.
