Vice Prime Minister Vyacheslav Kyrylenko never expressed support individual participants of the national selection for the Eurovision song contest-2019.
This was stated press Secretary of Olga Kirilenko mykhailuta on the official page of Deputy Prime Minister in Facebook, answering a comment of press Secretary of the Prosecutor General Larisa Sargan regarding the alleged “pulling someone” in the Eurovision song contest-2019.
“Vice Prime Minister Vyacheslav Kyrylenko never expressed support individual participants of national selection for song contest “Eurovision-2019″. His statement concerned the inadmissibility to represent our country to the artists who do not recognize the territorial integrity of Ukraine, as well as those that are touring in Russia – the aggressor state, officially recognized by the Law of Ukraine”, – wrote mykhailuta.
She turned to Larisa Sargan: “I Hope that you as the press Secretary of the Prosecutor General, relying on the spirit and letter of this Law, also stand on the positions of non-participation of the “Russian” guest performers at the song contest “Eurovision” from Ukraine and share the concerns of many Ukrainians in connection with the transformation of the National selection for the next hybrid special operation of Russia against Ukraine “.
Press Secretary Vyacheslav Kirilenko said that the Vice-Prime Minister and Prosecutor General are members of the same political team for years to defend common values, and this team right now needs unity, perhaps as never until now.
