Democrats and Republicans in Congress are interested to reach a final agreement early next week
The Congress of the United States is considering to allocate six to eight billion dollars to combat the spread of coronavirus Covid-19. About it reports RBC-Ukraine with reference to The Hill.
According to the interlocutor of the edition, the Congress is inclined to allocate more money to combat coronavirus.
“Although the range that was discussed (in Congress – ed.), ranged from six to eight billion dollars, the parties tend to a larger value in this range,” – said the source.
It is noted that the Democrats and Republicans in Congress are interested to reach a final agreement early next week to have time to spend all the vote before spring break.
“Congress approximately 10 working days before I go on vacation for a week, which sets lawmakers clear deadline for the elaboration of the agreement, the transfer of both chambers for a vote, and then to the President for signature Donald Trump”, – stated in the material.
