The Ukrainian foreign Ministry sent a protest note to Russia because of another “humanitarian convoy” to Donbass

МИД Украины направил ноту протеста России из-за очередного "гумконвоя" на Донбасс

Russia ignored the warnings of the Ukrainian side

The Ministry of foreign Affairs of Ukraine expressed strong protest to the Ministry of foreign Affairs of the Russian Federation in connection with the delivery of the next “humanitarian aid” in the occupied Donbass. About it reports RBC-Ukraine with reference to the press service of the foreign Ministry.

It is noted that Russia sent a humanitarian convoy, ignoring repeated earlier warnings of the Ukrainian side, without her formal consent, in violation of the legislation of Ukraine, conditions and modalities of delivery of humanitarian assistance, which have been previously agreed between Ukraine, Russia and the International Committee of the red cross.

The move happened through Russian border checkpoints “Donetsk” and “Matveev Kurgan” and closed the Ukrainian checkpoints “Izvarino” and “Uspenka”. At the same time, the Russian side made it impossible for the implementation of the Ukrainian border guards and customs officers are the mandatory control procedures.

“In this regard, the Ministry of foreign Affairs of the Russian Federation sent a note of protest with the requirement, in particular, adhere to its international obligations, including bilateral treaties previously agreed modalities for the delivery of humanitarian supplies and send them in the future, designed in accordance with the legislation of Ukraine and through controlled border crossing points”, – is spoken in the message

Earlier it was reported that the so-called “humanitarian convoy” of the Ministry of emergency situations of the Russian Federation on 12 December, arrived in the “Donetsk people’s Republic”.
