Real wages in Ukraine in December 2018 compared to December 2017 have increased by 9.7%
This is stated in the edition of “Hvil”.
The average nominal wage of full-time employees in December 2018 in annual terms increased by 20.5%.
The largest increase in average wages of full-time employees in December 2018 compared to December 2017 was observed in Kiev (27.8%), Poltava (by 27.6%) and Zaporizhia (25.6%) regions and Kyiv city (17.9%).
The highest level of salaries in the last month was recorded in Kyiv (UAH 16546), the lowest – in Chernihiv region (UAH 8005).
In December 2018, compared to December 2017 wages increased in construction (by 28.6%), the sphere of activity of administrative and support services (27.8%) and industry (24%).
Earlier it was reported that Ukraine started large-scale checks of business: looking for those who violate the law and gives out salaries in envelopes.
Simultaneously with the start of inspections, workers and employers have hinted that you know what level of problems is dealing with the state. Acting Deputy head of GFS Eugene Bambiza reported that 8 million Ukrainian workers receive salaries in envelopes.
