In Britain, 58-year-old woman lost all limbs after he had coronavirus.
Caroline Fire first felt the symptoms Covid-19 at the end of March, and then she confirmed the virus. At first she felt fine but just a few weeks I feel worse, and she was diagnosed with infection of the chest.
The woman was treated in hospital Bedford. There she was told that she had developed sepsis and almost a month she was in a medically induced coma.
The family of Caroline twice said that the hospital was going to stop treatment if the situation will not get better.
To the surprise of the doctors, Caroline began to recover after nearly a month in a coma, when her kidneys, blood pressure and other vital organs began to heal.
Despite this, the limited blood flow while staying in a coma has led to the fact that her hands and feet turned black and had to be cut.
The woman said that her hands looked like hands of an Egyptian mummy.
“They were black and wrinkled. I was so grateful for his life that losing them was not so difficult,” she said.
At the moment, Caroline to adapt to a new lifestyle without arms and legs. She expects soon to return to his work to raise funds for the Foundation Make A Difference.
