The Minister of emergency situations of the Republic of Crimea Sergey Shakhov reported on the introduction from tomorrow on the territory of the Republic of Crimea a special fire prevention regime.
From 10 April 2020 on the territory of the Republic of Crimea will be introduced a special fire mode. Mode is entered to prevent possible fires, to create conditions for their successful suppression and mitigation of damage, increase of level of fire safety in the Republic of Crimea, – said the Minister.
Thus, in the case of occurrence of fires is mandated to involve, and measures for prevention and liquidation of emergency situations the necessary forces and means of territorial subsystem of the Republic of Crimea unified state system of prevention and liquidation of emergency situations (RSChS), local authorities caught up in the disaster area.
It should also be ensured the timely forecasting of the development of the fire situation to Edinaya dezhurno-dispatching service (EDDS) local authorities, dezhurno-dispatching services (BDS) organizations, institutions, enterprises and households.
According to Mr Yadav, in turn, the local authorities of municipal formations in the Republic of Crimea recommended: to ensure a special regime of entry and restricting the free movement of vehicles and movement of citizens in the field of fire and adjacent areas, strengthen the protection of public order and protection of objects, providing activity of the population in the places of fires and adjacent territories.
Also, the authorities lay down the arrangements for alerting the public, heads of objects of rest and improvement of children about fire evacuation to safer places under the threat of distribution of fire on settlements, objects of rest and improvement of children, including the evacuation of low-mobility population, with the appointment of the officials responsible for conducting these activities.
– In addition, municipalities need to create additional reserves of fuel and lubricants in case of extinguishing large fires, to ensure the availability of information signs and to ensure the availability of external sources of fire and access roads. To organise the fire fighting activities along the borders of settlements, gardening partnerships, objects of rest and improvement of children, within the right of way of roads and Railways, agricultural land, including through resettlement anti-fire mineralized strips, cleaning of the territory from dry grass, crop residues, fallen trees, debris, trash and other combustible materials and more, – said Sergey Shakhov.
