Ukrainian Lesya Tsurenko left the tournament WTA in Doha. On the 1/8 finals, the representative of Ukraine gave the Romanian Simone Halep.

The match lasted 1 hour and 19 minutes and ended with the score 6:2, 6:3 in favor of the Romanian tennis player.
In the first set Halep scored three breaks against one Tsurenko. Les went ahead with the launch of the second batch, but with the account 3:1 (failed to convert a chance lead with a double break) lost five games in a row.
Informed sportswomen met four times, with each other, and in all cases were stronger than the Romanian in 2012 in the Austrian Linz (starred Tsurenko with the score 0:3 in favour), in 2013 in Dutch hertogenbosh (3:6, 1:6), 2014-m at Wimbledon (3:6, 6:4, 4:6) and in 2018 in Cincinnati (4:6, 1:6).
Now, Tsurenko will prepare for the tournament in Dubai, which begins on February 17. But Halep continues to participate in the tournament in the quarterfinals and will face Julia Gorges.
