The idea of signing the Memorandum on fair elections that will combat electoral fraud, has put forward public organisations. In a live TV channel “1+1” it was signed by presidential candidates of Ukraine Yulia Timoshenko, Anatoly Gritsenko, Andriy Sadovyy, Viktor Bondar and Oleksandr Shevchenko.
Candidates for presidents of Ukraine Yulia Timoshenko, Anatoly Gritsenko, Andriy Sadovyy, Viktor Bondar and Oleksandr Shevchenko signed a Memorandum on fair elections, aimed at combating election fraud. The signing took place on air of the program “Provo to Vlad,” the TV channel “1+1”.
With a proposal to sign the Memorandum were the leading Natalia Mosiychuk. According to her, the idea of signing a document put forward by public organizations.
Present in the Studio, the candidates unanimously agreed to sign a Memorandum directly in the program, after which the presenter was asked to print a document.
According to Mosiychuk, a Memorandum can be signed by all the current presidential candidates.
Presidential elections in Ukraine scheduled for 31 March 2019. The election campaign started on 31 December 2018.
3 Feb finished reception of documents for registration of presidential candidates, they filed 90 people. Registration of candidates ends on February 8. As of 7 February, the Central election Commission registered 41 candidates.
