Ukraine, Lithuania and Poland decided to establish a joint safety Committee

Today continued the plenary meeting of the X session of the Interparliamentary Assembly of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine, Seimas of the Republic of Lithuania and Sejm and Senate of Republic of Poland. This was reported by the press service of the Ukrainian Parliament.

“At the tenth session of the Interparliamentary Assembly of Ukraine, Lithuania and Poland created a new Committee MPA – security”, – stated in the message.

“The Assembly members of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine, Seimas of Lithuania, Sejm and Senate of Poland… calls upon member States of the European Union and member countries “the Big seven” to impose sanctions against Russian ports in the Azov sea for their illegal cooperation with the sea ports on the territory of temporarily occupied Crimea that have been closed by the Ukrainian authorities”, – is spoken in the resolution adopted at the meeting of the inter-parliamentary Assembly in Vilnius.

In addition, the Interparliamentary Assembly of the three countries urged the EU to extend sanctions against Russia, while Moscow is not fully fulfilling the Minsk agreements and will not be restored the territorial integrity of Ukraine.
