Ukraine’s first concrete road N-31 Dnipro-Reshetylivka will put into operation before the end of 2020.
This was announced by the Minister of infrastructure of Ukraine Vladislav Crickley in Facebook.
“The first concrete road will be commissioned before the end of 2020 two years ago, the road N-31 Dnipro-Reshetylivka looked like a backdrop for the film about the Apocalypse. The movement on this road was a danger to the driver and damaging the vehicle,” wrote Crickley.
According to the Minister, now the road has changed a lot. Only in the Poltava region was constructed 4 bridges, 8 overpasses, 14 underpasses and 3 detour of settlements.
Crickley noted that detours around settlements will help to get rid of the noise of large vehicles, and high-quality concrete coating will keep the cars from damage.
As reported, in early September last year the Northern bypass in Zhitomir within the framework of the project of reconstruction of the highway Kyiv – Chop in the area of 1 100 square metres tested the 26-inch concrete layer of the pavement.
The former head of the State Agency of automobile roads of Ukraine Slawomir Nowak proposed to apply a new for Ukraine laying the technology of rolled concrete for the implementation of the National road rehabilitation programme territorial values.
