Ukrainian biathlete won an unusual race on the Alpine Cup

In Pokljuka, Slovenia during the Alpine Cup on biathlon took place supershort individual race. The victory here was won by the Ukrainian Daria Blashko.

The race format is experimental, the official competition has not yet met: for short distances 5 km (five laps of 1 km) four shooting stages with 15 seconds penalty for a miss.

The first Ukrainian athlete, who has experienced this kind of format was Darya Blashko, which won this race. Of the four shooting Ukrainian made only one mistake. Therefore, ahead of its rival Ladino Mayer Rouge from Switzerland more than one minute.
