Ukrainian rider Ivan Beclin conducted tests of French Formula 4. The tests were run on the legendary track in Le Mans.
In the tests was attended by a total of 8 pilots. Six of them already had experience of performances in the various national Championships F4. While 17-year-old Ivan Beclin and another driver first got behind the wheel of the car. Before that they competed in karting, which is somewhat different, writes motorsport.com.
Scheduled one-day test was divided into five 25-minute sessions. In the first of them, Ivan Beclin tried to take turns in a go-kart style. So at the end of the session, the Ukrainian lost to the better pilot almost 10 seconds. After the first session began that work which is usually hidden from the eyes of the audience, engineer and Academy coaches FFSA.
At the end of the second session of the Ukrainian accelerated markedly inferior to the best time for 6 seconds.
In the third session of the backlog Ivan was just three seconds off the best time. However, he showed the results at the level with the pilots, who were already in F4.
In the fifth session to improve the time Peklo the rain stopped. However, for Ukrainians this was an opportunity to test the car in rainy weather and to gain necessary experience.
