Sunday from the Tretyakov gallery in Moscow in front of the visitors, an unknown man stole the painting “AI-Petri. Crimea” artist Arkhip Kuindzhi.

According to witnesses, a young man, similar to a Museum employee, quietly removed the picture from the wall, and then went behind a pillar, where you pulled the canvas from the frame and left. The visitors thought that nothing unusual is happening, assuming that the employee of Tretyakov gallery, as expected, changes the picture.

The matrons came to his senses only after about a minute – but the kidnapper behind the pillar was gone. He quickly ran down the stairs, with a straight face, – so the attacker had to fix a surveillance camera.

Arrived after some time, the police searched coming out of the gallery visitors. Authorities have officially confirmed a state of emergency, the correspondent of “Politnavigator”.

Estimated value of the stolen paintings Kuindzhi “AI-Petri” – about $ 10 million. However, in addition to theft to order and there is a version of political performance – it actively unwind in the Ukrainian segment of social networks, claiming that the attacker confirmed Russian “Crimea is not yours.”
